Karsten Tenten
For the travellers who'd rather unwind than unpack
With a background in Industrial Design Engineering at the TU Delft my Bachelor Thesis Project revolved around designing for tenting company Karsten Tenten.
The Karsten Vidulus was born!
A 2-3 person tent which is attached to the boot of the car and folds around the opened boot once you've arrived at the day's roadtrip destination. While many focused on the technical possbilities of designing for Karsten, my focus was around expanding their brand.
Due to physical, financial and time based limitations the creating of a full scale model wasn't realistic, hence through scale models, forced perspective and photoshop, 3 visuals were made to explain the customer journey without making a single 1:1 part.
